Subject:    Mr. Than Ly – Onsite Cadata Contracto

2014 Work Performance Evaluation

This letter is to inform you of the outstanding work performed this year by Mr. Thanh Ly.  As in previous years, Mr. Ly continues to be a valuable asset to my Department.  When asked to take on new tasks, he willingly accepts these challenges with both a positive and professional attitude.  Mr. Ly’s attention to detail and pride of ownership in the tasks assigned to him is reflected in the finished product of his work.  Mr. Ly’s adaptability to various assignments has allowed me to use him throughout the MWAA campus of Shops.

Sign Shop

Most recently, the Sign Shop acquired a new HP Scitex FB500 Large-format UV Combination Printer.  Before operating the new printer, all Sign Shop employees (including Cadata staffers assigned to the Sign Shop) had to complete the HP Operational and Maintenance Training Course.  Not only did Mr. Ly successfully complete the course, but has since become the regular operator of this very expensive piece of equipment.  In addition, he routinely performs the printer’s scheduled maintenance recommended by HP.   It is also important to note, his skill in the art of sign fabrication and installation has reached journeyman level.  He has consistently proven to be a productive member of my shop, works exceptionally well with other staff on projects requiring a team effort, as well as successfully completing task needing individual attention.  Concerning time and attendance, Mr. Ly is regularly on time for work and always gives advance notice on days he plans to be off.

Paint Shop

Occasionally, Mr. Ly assists painters with painting pavement Gate Position Lead-in-Lines, Runway Hold Lines and Taxiway Hold Position Lines.  These markings are essential to the safe and secure operations of not only inbound/outbound planes, but other traffic movement on and along the runways.

Auto Body Shop

Mr. Ly’s work in the Body Shop includes sanding and prepping substrates for painting.  Remove old vehicle graphics from vehicles that have reached their life-cycle and are scheduled to be excessed.

In closing, I hope these observations regarding Mr. Ly’s contribution to the MWAA’s Paint/Auto Body and Sign Shops will be taken in consideration during any in-house employee evaluations conducted by Cadata Management.

Respectfully,

Charles Pendley
